Discover the benefits of outdoor training!
Dojo, the training room, is a miniature cosmos, where we meet ourselves, with fear and anxiety, with the different habits and reactions we have. This is the small arena of conflict where we face an adversary who is not really the real adversary. He is the training partner that helps us get to know each other better and discover our true adversary: our own ego.
In the training room we learn a lot of things in a very short time and, especially, we learn what we really are in reality and how we react to life situations.
Conflicts in the training room help us deal with conflicts outside the training room. We use the necessary discipline and concentration in the training room outside the training room, in ordinary life. Dojo activity is full of surprises, any moment is unique, any time we learn something new, or using Zen terminology, Dojo is a place of self-enlightenment.
Self-defence is a set of methods that can be used to stop a personal attack.
Self-defence techniques were derived from traditional martial arts and adapted for use by ordinary people to defend themselves in their normal lives.
In self-defence, we use simple techniques, use blocks, restraints and levers to dominate the opponent as quickly as possible and shorten the time to fight to avoid risks and remaining physical differences in the background and try to avoid complex movements.
Defense with bare hands can be supplemented with weapons, they can be either knives or firearms or anything that came close at the time of the conflict.
